Netflix launches weekly live variety talk show with John Mulaney

John Mulaney will host a new weekly live variety talk show Netflixwhose debut is scheduled for 2025. The series will be inspired by his previous limited series of live shows, John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LAwhich featured non-current topics and celebrity panels, as well as skits, interstitials, human interest pieces, robotic refreshment deliveries, musical performances and audience calls. “I was in a few shots and it was so bold and original and fresh and unprecedented, unpredictable,” Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s chief content officer, said yesterday when he announced the series. “And I think it will be really fun to do a live show with him.
