Man steals Porsche and leads MPD on chase, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A man previously charged with spin-outs is back behind bars after he was arrested and accused of stealing a Porsche and leading police on a chase.

According to MPD, Taryll Cunningham led officers on a chase in a stolen Porsche from Knoxville while serving his sentence.

According to the affidavit, officers pursued the car and when it parked in front of a home, officers said Cunningham and a second suspect attempted to rob the home’s owner.

When confronted by MPD, the two suspects ran away.

Officers later located her after a short pursuit; They say Cunningham jumped on the hood of an Audi that was driving through the area.

MPD later found the keys to the stolen Porsche in Cunningham’s front pocket.

Cunningham is now charged with evading arrest with a motor vehicle.
