Pennsylvania man found guilty of first-degree murder for stabbing woman

SUNBURY — Guilt was never an issue in a Northumberland County murder trial, only the level of responsibility that jurors would assign to Corey G. Quincy.

They made that decision Thursday after 90 minutes of deliberations when they found the Shamokin man guilty of first-degree murder in the 2022 death of Rhonda Pierce.

Quincy, 24, was also found guilty in the one-day trial of aggravated assault, abuse of corpse, recklessly endangering another person and possession of a criminal weapon.
