Boston knife suspect arrested after multi-agency operation

BOSTON – A joint operation by the Boston Police Department’s Youth Violence Strike Force, Massachusetts State Police and Transit Police led to the arrest of a suspect in a September stabbing, authorities said Tuesday.

Brima Wurie, 45, of Boston, was found at 307 Huntington Ave. on Tuesday, October 8, at approximately 2:14 p.m. arrested.

He is suspected in a stabbing that occurred Sept. 30 at the intersection of Kenilworth St. and Lambert Ave. took place in Roxbury.

After executing an arrest warrant, Wurie was taken into custody without incident.

He is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon (resulting in serious bodily injury), assault with a weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon.
