One man seriously injured, helicopters called three more people to help after an accident involving a flatbed RV in Allegany County today

At approximately 4:30 p.m. today, a large RV (recreational vehicle) and a flatbed truck were involved in an accident on Route 19 in Hume, Allegany County.

Although details are limited, police told the Sun there is a report of a person suffering serious injuries being worked on at the scene.

Emergency responders called in three medical helicopters for three more patients.

The accident occurred behind the Fillmore School near the city barns and RG Mason Auctions.

State Route 19 was closed to allow a State Police accident reconstruction team to investigate the incident.
