Amarillo police make third arrest in fatal shooting

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Amarillo police have made a third arrest in a fatal shooting in September.

Police arrested 25-year-old Teagann Ixavier Zabrantee Shaw today. He was booked into the Potter County Jail on a murder charge.

The shooting took place on September 17th. Officers responded to the area of ​​Jason Avenue and River Road to find 26-year-old Tiray James Evans had been shot.

He died at the scene of the accident.

On Wednesday, September 18, 27-year-old James Childs was taken into custody and charged with murder.

On Friday, September 27, 21-year-old Markeen Tiiedrick Rayshon Walker was arrested in the area of ​​38th and South Jackson Street. He was also accused of murder.

All three men were booked into the Potter County Jail.
