Fatal accident in Jackson County.

SPRINGFIELD, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A man is dead after being pinned between a tractor and a mobile home. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said it responded to the incident in the city of Springfield just after 5:30 p.m. last Saturday (10/7/24). When emergency responders arrived, they discovered that 79-year-old Peter Suckut of Clear Lake Wisconsin was the person being restrained. He was freed from the equipment but died of his injuries at the scene of the accident.
