Shootout in Southeast Baltimore

A teenager was injured in a shooting in South Baltimore and a man is hospitalized after a shooting in Southeast Baltimore just minutes from each other Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 12:22 p.m., police responded to the 3900 block of 10th Street for a reported shooting.

Officers then located a 15-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg. He was taken to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

A few minutes later, around 12:30 p.m., police responded to the 3500 block of Esther Place in Southeast Baltimore for a report that a gun had been discharged.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 57-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower body.

He was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
