Police investigate Hollywood shootings

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Police are investigating a shooting in Hollywood Thursday morning.

According to Danielly De Andrade, a spokeswoman for the Hollywood Police Department, it happened near the 600 block of Eaton Street.

Local 10 News was on scene where a person was initially handcuffed by police, but they were removed a short time later. It remains unclear how the person is connected to the investigation.

Officers and detectives were seen entering and exiting a home in the area several times.

Authorities said neighbors heard police responding but did not hear any shots fired.

Hollywood police are expected to provide more details at a news conference Thursday afternoon.
