Donald Trump calls Whoopi Goldberg “dirty and disgusting” during rally.

Kamala Harris leads Donald Trump by four points, 49-45 percent, in the latest Economist/YouGov poll and appears to have the edge among suburban voters, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll – although one data analyst has the former’s chances President states profits have inexplicably increased.

Meanwhile, Trump rejected Fox News’ offer to host a final presidential debate between him and his Democratic rival and also declined CNN’s invitation to a second contest.

“There will be no rematch,” the Republican said on Truth Social. “So there is nothing to discuss.”

It was widely believed that Trump had lost his first face-off in Philadelphia a month ago, cutting an absurd figure as he railed baselessly about Haitian immigrants eating pets in Springfield, Ohio.

On Wednesday, the Republican rallied in Joe Biden’s home state of Pennsylvania and used the time to repeat petty false claims, calling Harris “stupid” and attacking him The view Presenter Whoopi Goldberg as “insane” and “dirty and disgusting”.

Exclusive survey for The Independent has since suggested that Republicans are tired of Trump and prefer his running mate, JD Vance, even though they consider Democrat Tim Walz to be more presidential than that rival.

Report says Bill Clinton plans to target rural voters as he joins Harris campaign

Citing three sources familiar with the plans, CNN reports that Bill Clinton will join the campaign in support of Kamala Harris starting this weekend.

The former president will seek to appeal to rural voters where polls have shown Vice President Kamala Harris performing worse than some recent Democratic candidates, particularly among younger black men.

Clinton will begin with stops in Georgia on Sunday and Monday. A bus tour of North Carolina is expected to follow next week until the hurricanes recover.

The focus is on districts won by former President Donald Trump. But it’s also up to Clinton voters, who hope there are enough left from when he was the last Democratic presidential candidate before Biden won Georgia in 1992, and that he can rejoin them in a coalition from which they have repeatedly dropped out over the last decade.

Clinton will not appear at rallies. Returning to a type of campaigning he hasn’t done since he was named the “Comeback Kid” in the 1992 New Hampshire primary, Clinton’s schedule includes local fairs and porch rallies where he speaks to, at most, a few hundred people at a time .

With Trump refusing to debate, Harris accepts the CNN town hall invitation instead

Kamala Harris will take part in a live town hall hosted by CNN on October 23 as Donald Trump continues to refuse to face the vice president on the debate stage again.

Harris-Walz campaign chairwoman Jen O’Malley called Trump’s dodging of any further debate a “disservice to the American people” and released the following statement:

Donald Trump’s refusal to take the debate stage with Vice President Harris again is a disservice to the American people. They deserve to see the candidates side by side again before they cast their votes, to get one last look at their vastly different visions for America. Unfortunately, after stepping away from 60 Minutes and conducting 27 direct interviews with conservative media outlets, it is clear that Trump would prefer to hide in safe spaces and avoid real questions about his harmful agendas and failed divisive leadership. Trump fears another debate in which Vice President Harris would hold him accountable in front of tens of millions of Americans.

Trump may want to hide from voters, but Vice President Harris welcomes the opportunity to share her vision for a new path forward for the country. She happily accepts CNN’s invitation to a live televised town hall meeting on October 23rd in Pennsylvania. This will be a unique opportunity for voters to hear directly from the Vice President how she is committed to being a President for all Americans and how she plans to reduce costs for families, our freedoms, including reproductive freedom, to protect and keep us safe and secure. She will also use this platform to argue directly to Americans that Donald Trump will threaten the stability and security of hard-working families and that a second Trump term poses too great a risk to our country.
