Hamilton man has been charged after the nanny was sexually assaulted multiple times

HAMILTON, Mo. (KCTV) – A Hamilton truck driver has been charged with sexual misconduct after sexually assaulting his family’s nanny on multiple occasions.

Documents filed in Caldwell County, Missouri, District Court revealed that Steven E. Brand Sr., 44, of Hamilton, was charged Wednesday, Oct. 9, with sexual misconduct and assault.

According to the Hamilton Police Department, officers were called to Brand’s home on May 20 with reports of an assault. The Brand family’s nanny reported that she had been harassed and sexually abused by Brand on several occasions.

Court documents revealed that Brand, who is a truck driver, also faces sexual misconduct and assault charges out of Linn County. He is accused of sexually harassing a Brookfield Pizza Hut employee because he claimed he was single and needed a “sugar baby.”

As of Thursday, Brand remains behind Caldwell County bars on a $10,000 bond. A bond hearing is scheduled for Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. No further information was released.
