NFL Week Six: 10 Bold Predictions

NFL Week Six: 10 Bold Predictions

The NFL is king and it didn’t disappoint this year. From shootouts to duds, from big games to disappearing acts, this league has given us so much in the first five weeks. Let’s try to predict what the sixth week has in store for us.

Bold Prediction 1 – Trevor Lawrence and Caleb Williams are hosting a show in London

In a battle for first overall wins, both players will try to outdo each other. Luckily for us, that usually means a fun game of soccer is being played. I expect both quarterbacks to get into a rhythm early, and often I expect a combined 550 passing yards and five touchdowns.

Bold Prediction 2 – Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels combine for 150 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns

There probably weren’t many people excited about this game at the start of the year, and now it might be the best matchup of the week. Two fun quarterbacks whose offense is in full swing. As in the last few weeks, I expect both to be in top form.

Bold Prediction 3 – Jordan Love throws four touchdowns against the Arizona Cardinals

This game should give us a lot of offense. Arizona has a pretty bad defense that will allow the Green Bay Packers to put up points. I expect the Cardinals offense to put up points like it always does, which will lead to the Packers continuing to put their foot down.

Bold Prediction 4 – Drake Maye throws two touchdowns in his debut

The New England Patriots have done Maye no favors as his debut comes against a great defensive team. The Texans are a terrible game against the Patriots, but I still expect to see some highlights from Maye. The Texans should take an early lead, which could cause them to fade a bit and allow Maye to shine even more.

Bold Prediction 5 – Spencer Rattler leads his team to victory in his debut

It’s an unconventional debut for the rookie, but here he is starting in a divisional game. The New Orleans Saints offense has been so simple and creative that I think Rattler can get the job done. He’s looked great in the preseason, and if that continues, the Saints will be fine.

Bold Prediction 6 – The Philadelphia Eagles rebound to crush the Cleveland Browns

The Eagles have struggled this year as they are currently 2-2. The Browns have been a team that does everything right for years, and unfortunately, they could end up in that territory again. The Eagles should feel good about their bye so they can have a great game plan and get a convincing win.

Bold Prediction 7 – Will Levis throws for 300 yards and two touchdowns

Will Levis has had a very interesting and meme-worthy start to the year, but there are even better days ahead. This team has too many solid weapons for him to contend with, and I believe they have a great plan to attack this Indianapolis Colts secondary with their departure. This will be the week we remember why Levis got so much hype.

Bold Prediction 8 – Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys combine to score 60 points

Attack, attack and more attack, that’s what I expect in this game. Both teams have had a solid year offensively but are waiting for their true breakthrough, and I think that could be the case this week. Two big teams with a lot of eyes on them will have both ready to go.

Bold Prediction 9 – LSU wide receivers dominate Sunday Night Football

Ja’Marr Chase and Malik Nabers are two guys who are dominating the NFL right now, and there’s nothing better than a friendly rivalry in prime time. I expect both wide outs to reach over 100 yards and make several big plays.

Bold Prediction 10 – The New York Jets upset the Buffalo Bills in their first game without Robert Saleh

The Jets tend to be the team with nothing left to lose, and those teams are dangerous. We know the Jets’ talent is real; They just haven’t managed to figure it all out yet. A change in leadership might have been all they needed.
