Suspect in custody after stabbing 73-year-old relative in Moscow

MOSCOW, Idaho (CBS2) – According to a recent press release, Moscow Police officers were dispatched to a report of a stabbing at 122 N. Washington St. Apt. sent. 1F on Wednesday at approximately 9:42 p.m

The reporting party stated they heard a commotion, entered the living area of ​​the apartment and saw the victim, a 73-year-old man, pinning the suspect, a 35-year-old man, to the ground.

Officers arrived on scene and the suspect was taken into custody. An ambulance transported the victim to Gritman Medical Center to receive treatment for multiple stab wounds. The victim’s status is unknown.

The suspect was taken to the Latah County Jail and charged with attempted murder. The victim and suspect are family members, but their identities have not been released.
