Outer Banks Season 4, Part 1: UK release time and plot details

The fourth season of Netflix drama Outer Banks reunites viewers with Sarah, John B and the Pogues gang.

The young adult series returns to North Carolina as two groups of teenagers – the Kooks and the Pogues – search for lost treasure.

Outer Banks has become a hit

The streaming service Netflix will broadcast the current season in two parts to meet demand and extend the drama.

Here’s what we know about season four.

When is Outer Banks 4 released in the UK?

The first part of Outer Banks season 4 went live on Netflix on Thursday, October 10 at 8am UK time.

Part two will be available from November 7th.

Both parts consist of five episodes.

What is Outer Banks Season 4 about?

The drama focuses on the crew trying to live a normal life after finding gold. Forbes reported.

A Netflix synopsis states: “After last season’s 18-month flash-forward showing Wes Genrette’s proposal to the Pogues to find Blackbeard’s treasure, Season 4 takes us back to the time before that moment.”

“John B, Sarah, Kiara, JJ, Pope and Cleo accept Wes’ offer and are drawn back into the ‘G’ game for an entirely new adventure.”

Co-creator Josh Pate said: “We knew we had to give them a win, but in the end it was a complicated affair. We wanted the audience to feel like they had accomplished something and that it wasn’t all in vain.”

Who is in the cast of Outer Banks season 4?

As mentioned above, the cast will include many returning fan favorites.

Netflix’s in-house press engine, Tudum, will include:

J. Anthony Crane (Dead Ringers, Billions) plays Chandler Groff. Deeply saddened by the loss of his wife, he welcomes the Pogues to their latest adventure.
Pollyanna McIntosh (The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, Double Blind) plays Daliaa revolutionary leader and secular villain on a spree of plunder who faces the Pogues.
Brianna Brown (Dynasty, Eastsiders) plays Hollis Robinson. The island’s largest real estate agent, who previously worked successfully with Ward, is now eyeing Rafe to start a new project.
Rigo Sanchez (Animal Kingdom, Station 19) plays Lightner, an imposing stranger with a pirate nerve. This dangerous and calculating nature lover seems to be testing the Pogues.
Mia Challis (FBI: International, Clickbait) plays Ruthiea wild child with a toxic streak who forms a close relationship with Topper.

Josh Pate and Shannon Burke wrote all episodes.
