Seahawks vs. 49ers: How to watch on Prime Video, other live stream options, schedule and more

One of the great NFC West rivalries is renewed again, and further Thursday Night Football for the third time in a row.

The Seattle Seahawks (3-2) and San Francisco 49ers (2-3) are both heavy favorites coming off tough home losses, but first place is still at stake between these teams. Seattle got off to a 3-0 start but suffered back-to-back defeats against the Detroit Lions and New York Giants. San Francisco dominated the New York Jets on opening night and the New England Patriots three weeks later, but Kyle Shanahan’s team blew a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter against the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals and lost 23-17 undefeated Minnesota Vikings.

Both teams are dealing with some key absences: Seattle will be without star cornerback Riq Woolen and rookie defensive tackle Byron Murphy II due to injuries, while the 49ers will be without kicker Jake Moody or safety Talanoa Hufanga after their respective injuries. Christian McCaffrey won’t be back any time soon due to Achilles tendonitis, but the 49ers still have a top game in Jordan Mason.

What’s the most important storyline for the Seahawks, aside from it being Mike Macdonald’s first division game and his first primetime home game? Seattle has lost five straight times to San Francisco since 2022, including a stunning loss in the 2023 Wild Card round. Four of the five losses have been by double digits.
