Seth Meyers adds a single, damning word to Trump’s slogan

Seth Meyers changed one of Donald Trump’s favorite slogans in response to the report in Bob Woodward’s new book “War” that then-President Trump secretly gave COVID testing machines to the Russian president during the pandemic, when Americans were struggling to get tested Vladimir Putin sent.

On Wednesday’s episode of “Late Night,” host Meyers aired a montage of now-Republican presidential candidate Trump bombastically proclaiming his love, loyalty and unwavering devotion to Americans and repeating his mantra “America First.”

However, Meyers suggested that Trump’s helping hand to Putin to U.S. citizens should be changed to the slogan: “America! But first…”
