According to police, a man was injured at a VIA bus stop in the city center

SAPD does not have a suspect at this time

According to police, a man injured his face at a VIA bus stop in the city center (Copyright 2024 by KSAT – All rights reserved.)

SAN ANTONIO – A man was found unconscious on the ground with a cut on his face near a VIA Metropolitan Transit stop downtown, according to San Antonio police.

VIA Police and SAPD found the man in the 700 block of San Pedro Ave. around 1:45 a.m. Thursday.

Police said the man was injured from his temple to his chin and lost a lot of blood.

When the man woke up, he did not cooperate with police and had to be given sedatives, police said.

The man was taken to hospital in critical condition. He was not identified.

Police have no information about a suspect or witness.
