Pedestrian accident on 4th Plain Boulevard kills 1

Vancouver, WA (October 9, 2024) On Saturday evening, a man was fatally struck by a vehicle in a tragic pedestrian accident on 4th Plain Boulevard.

According to the Vancouver Police Department, officers responded to the scene of an accident near Northeast 54th Street around 9 p.m. after receiving reports of the collision.

According to authorities, the westbound driver saw the pedestrian in the roadway but was unable to stop in time.

According to officials, the pedestrian, who was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
