Morphe sprinkles the holiday season with drama inspired by old-school soaps

Get ready for the biggest drama of the year… To build excitement for Morphe’s new holiday capsule collection – and equip makeup-loving villains with the tools to survive/thrive this season – Design Army has a wild A head-turning campaign that celebrates the glamor of the holidays to the fullest. Made for those who love the bold drama that makeup can bring to life, this creative story unashamedly screams beauty like you’ve never seen before. Design Army invites you to own, embrace (and maybe even enjoy a little) the chaos of the season. And rest assured: whatever the celebrations, you will get through it all. Without apology.

Design Army has spiced up the “home for the holidays” drama with humor and wow visuals, creating a series of short film clips inspired by old-fashioned TV soaps. Who cares if the turkey is dry when your lips are perfectly plump? Be prepared to look perfectly dressed even when things get messy. And why mix it up when your look is perfectly fixed? Entirely inspired by the product’s makeup palette, we playfully brought to life all the shades, shimmer and exaggerated drama in every crazy detail.

Admire the family most obsessed with makeup. Always. And things are about to heat up in this epic sibling rivalry where no one cares about their cheerful manners – and you can break the tension with a cake server.

Nothing colors the Christmas spirit like mom’s melodrama. Her perfectly buffed up face (and fork)…always in yours. But why should you shade when your eyeshadow is on point? With makeup that won’t melt (even on your family), the epic eye rolls can begin.

The drama gets particularly exciting in this holiday dinner showdown. Which sister has the perfectly painted wrinkle? Armed with ridiculous raspberry-studded fingernails and lip gloss sticks turned into swords, glamor is the name of the game.

To make the packaging eye-catching – and seamlessly integrate with the TV soap concept and set design – Design Army took inspiration from vintage VHS and box sets, which used to stand out in multi-colored lines. Design Army played with this holographic effect, creating a custom pattern that blended Morphe’s “M” and the makeup’s color palette. Also the funny names of the product: “Shade Thrower”, “PartyCrasher”, “Crowd Pleaser”.
