“The Walking Dead Deluxe” #100 variant cover

Publisher’s description. To celebrate the 21st anniversary of the groundbreaking comic series, Skybound and Image Comics have released a stacked series of variant covers for The Walking Dead Deluxeincluding an exclusive Skybound.com cover. The covers of the monumental 100th issue will appear in comic shops on November 6, 2024.

These brand new covers will be released as variants of The Walking Dead Deluxe #100, with the issue presented for the first time in full-color format by writer/creator Robert Kirkman, artist Charlie Adlard and colorist Dave McCaig. Fans will also get a new look at the global pop culture phenomenon with pin-ups and an exclusive “Cutting Room Floor” commentary from Kirkman celebrating the series’ secret history.

In addition to the main Adlard & McCaig cover and its wraparound variant, The Walking Dead Deluxe #100 is released with seven additional covers from comic talent David Finch, Mattia De Iulis, Julian Totino Tedesco, Arthur Adams, Yasmine Putri, Simon Bisley and Derek Hunter, as well as a blank sketch cover.

Also on November 6th, Skybound will release an exclusive version The Walking Dead Deluxe Variant cover #100, which pays homage to series artist Charlie Adlard’s original Bloody Lucille Skybound Exclusive, released in 2012 (MSRP: $30.00). The cover features a red spot foil logo and spot gloss on the bloody Lucille.
