Mikel Arteta hires criminals to teach his Arsenal team a lesson 🥷

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is leaving no stone unturned to get the Gunners to win the Premier League this season.

The north London side finished just two points behind champions Manchester City last time out and are ready to challenge again with some new additions.

But Arteta is leaving nothing to chance and has turned to an unorthodox method to teach his side a few lessons in pre-season.

A great report in The Athletic on Thursday claimed the Arsenal manager had hired a team of professional pickpockets to steal phones and wallets from his squad.

Arteta then told the players to empty their pockets after dinner, with the team discovering some of their personal items were missing.

The chief then revealed the pickpockets and told his troops that they must be “alert and prepared” at all times in the coming campaign.

Fans who paid for a hot dog at the Emirates know this isn’t the first daylight robbery at Arsenal.
