Fired RBC CFO Nadine Ahn was hired by Canaccord Genuity

Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. has hired a former Royal Bank of Canada executive Nadine Ahn She will be named deputy chief financial officer and plans to move her to the CFO position next year.

Ahn, who was fired as Royal Bank’s CFO in April, will succeed Canaccord’s current finance chief. Don MacFaydenafter a transition period, the Canadian investment firm said in a statement on Wednesday. MacFayden will continue to serve in a leadership role in Canaccord’s U.S. capital markets business.
