WATCH: Customer knocks down man harassing patrons at Beverly Hills restaurant

A video of a brawl outside a Beverly Hills restaurant is going viral after one of the restaurant’s patrons knocked out a man who was part of a group that appeared to be harassing patrons with a single punch.

It happened in August on Porta Via on Canon Drive in Beverly Hills, a street patrolled by armed security guards.

According to the restaurant, a group of three men dressed all in black with phone cameras rolling approached the restaurant and began harassing their customers. Then one of these guests stood up to confront the group.

The video shows the two exchanging verbal blows before the man wearing black clothes arrives at the restaurant. The guest hits back and doesn’t miss. The blow caused the man to fall backwards into a heat lamp.

Initial reports on social media said the man who threw the punch was the restaurant manager, but Porta Via confirmed to FOX 11 that was false and the man was a customer. The restaurant added that they “condemn harassment and violence of any kind.”

Beverly Hills Police confirmed to FOX 11 that while officers took a report that night, no charges were filed and no arrests were made.
