Crash blocks part of I-20 near Exit 90

An accident on Interstate 20 west of Exit 90 causes a traffic delay. The Covington-Newton County emergency dispatch center reports that both the eastbound and westbound lanes are closed. According to a police officer, a car overturned on the highway near the Mama Maria’s location.

A News employee traveling on the highway reported that eastbound traffic was very slow in the area and that westbound traffic appeared to be at a standstill. The emergency center advises people to use an alternative route.
