Harrison man arrested on child pornography charges

Arkansas State Police agents arrested a Harrison man Tuesday who authorities said had child sexual abuse material on his device and was engaging in a sexual chat online with a teenage girl, State Police said Wednesday.

According to a state police news release, agents and Harrison police executed a search warrant at the home of 38-year-old Justin Perkuhn following a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which led to his arrest and seizure of his devices.

Investigators determined that Perkuhn exchanged nude photos of two minors with a 17-year-old girl during a sexual chat, and found 34 videos and six images of child sexual abuse materials that he uploaded to a cloud-based storage server.

According to authorities, Perkuhn had additional photos and videos of child abuse on his phone, which allowed them to identify and locate two victims who live near Perkuhn.

Authorities sent Perkuhn to the Boone County Jail, where he was held in lieu of $750,000 bail on 50 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and one count each of computer exploitation of a child, video voyeurism of an adult and A child was captured on video voyeurism, the press release says.
