Smallville’s Lois Lane and Lana Lang reunite on Kristin Kreuk’s Fox drama

Fox’s Murder in a small town brings together two big stars from the DC series Smallville. The special reunion takes place 13 years later Smallville ended its run on television.

Per TVLine, Smallville Star Erica Durance (Lois Lane) is on the way Murder in a small townthe new TV series with former co-star Kristin Kreuk (Lana Lang). This was announced after the show premiered in September Durance will make her debut in the next episodewhose premiere is scheduled for Oct 15. A new image and TV ad were also released to promote Durance’s entry into the series.

Smallville made one of the wildest changes to Superman’s powers

Superman’s powers developed slowly over the course of the CW teen drama Smallville, with one of Clark Kent’s iconic superpowers showing a notable growth problem.

Kreuk played the role of librarian Cassandra Lee in the series. Durance will play Emma O’Brea, a childhood friend of Kreuk’s character. The official logline for the episode, titled “Prized Possessions,” states: “At a fundraiser for her art center, Cassandra reunites with a childhood friend who later discovers that her husband has disappeared and that a crime scene has taken place in their home Cassandra provides Alberg with clues as he investigates mysterious disappearances and uncovers secrets and the truth behind a marriage.

The series was created by Ian Weir and is based on the novels Albert and Cassandra Mysteries by LR Wright. Weir will executive produce alongside Milan Cheylov, Morris Ruskin and Sharon J. Wisnia. In addition to Kreuk, the series also stars Rossif Sutherland as Karl Alberg, a detective who solves crimes together with Kreuk’s Cassandra Mitchell. Other guest stars for the freshman season include James Cromwell, Stana Katic, Aaon Douglas and Mya Lowe.

Durance recently commented on the planned animated series and confirmed that she is interested in further exploring the character of Lois Lane.

“I would have liked to find out where she would have gone next in her career,” Durance explained, per Screen Rant. “Whether it was important for her to become a mother, how she juggled it all. I’d like to delve a little more into her past, her experiences with her father and how her upbringing shaped her a little more, and just see.” She’s growing into a different person, into an adult version of herself. But I would love for her to remain complicated and conflicted and not always do the right thing and not always say the right thing because she is there [are] I think there are more people like that in the world than those who seem super smart.”
