Preliminary report released on plane crash that killed a Middletown High School student and teacher

(WFSB) – The National Transportation Safety Board has released a preliminary report into a September plane crash in Vermont that killed four people.

The Connecticut-bound plane crashed near Vergennes, Vermont, on September 8, killing a teacher and a student at Middletown High School.

The victims were 55-year-old Paul Pelletier of Columbia, CT, 88-year-old Frank Rodriquez of Lebanon, CT, 51-year-old Susan Van Ness of Middletown, CT, and 15-year-old Delilah Van Ness from Middletown CT.

Pelletier was an aeronautical engineering teacher at Middletown High School. Delilah was one of his students.
