The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) and Huntsville Parks & Recreation are pleased to announce that a seasonal highlight is back for another year.

The third annual Halloween Party and Haunted House will be held at the Orion Amphitheater on Sunday, October 27th from 4 to 9 p.m. 701 Amphitheater Dr. NW. This free event offers spooky fun for revelers of all ages.

“We are excited to continue this Halloween tradition for the third year,” said Chief Kirk Giles. “It’s an opportunity for us to engage with the community in a fun and safe environment. We look forward to seeing all the families out there and having an unforgettable evening.”

Wearing costumes is encouraged but not required to participate in the celebrations. The event includes:

  • Trunk or treat
  • Bouncy castles
  • Family friendly entertainment and carnival games
  • Food truck
  • Haunted House at 6 p.m

Huntsville Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett is pleased to partner with HPD again on this event.

“This event has grown every year and we are pleased to work with the Huntsville Police Department to bring it back to our community,” Gossett said. “It’s an opportunity for families to come together, enjoy fun activities and celebrate Halloween in a safe and fun environment.”

In addition to the games and treats, local vendors and nonprofit organizations are invited to participate in the candy stands.
