Woman dies last week after double stabbing in Sparks | Local News

A victim of a double knife attack in Sparks last week has died from his injuries.

The victim was taken to Renown and treated for his injuries but ultimately died at the hospital, according to a statement from Sparks police.

Another victim was also taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

No names of the victims are currently being released.

The identity of the stabbing suspect is also being kept secret. The suspect is in custody and has been identified as a juvenile.

They are charged with murder with the use of a deadly weapon, domestic violence with the use of a deadly weapon causing great bodily harm and assault with the use of a deadly weapon.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police are investigating a double knife attack that occurred Thursday afternoon in Sparks.

According to police, when officers arrived at the scene at a home on Chatterley Lane around 1:30 p.m., they found two women with stab wounds

Both women were transported to a nearby hospital under unknown conditions.

Sparks police said everyone involved in the incident was held accountable and one person was taken into custody.

They say it is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
