Clear Lake man dies in Jackson County crash

Police have identified the person who died in an Oct. 5 crash in Jackson County.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Peter Suckut, 79, Clear Lake, died when he was pinned between a tractor and a recreational vehicle in the town of Springfield. First responders were able to free Suckut, but he died at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
