GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A shooting murder occurred on Berner Street during a drug deal. According to the criminal complaints, the investigation revealed that those involved gave police multiple and different versions of what happened.

Dion Richardson is charged with first-degree premeditated murder in the Aug. 7 shooting death of Brandon Ramirez. Nigel White has also been charged, while Elijah White and Darian Pinchart are expected to be charged with involvement in the murder. The two complaints were sealed but are now publicly available.

Richardson told police he made a deal to buy a half-pound of marijuana from Ramirez for $430.

“Dion told me it all happened so quickly and the gun was on his head and he grabbed it. Dion said again that he pointed the gun at him and told him to give me all this, give me the money… Dion said that when they got to Berner’s, he pointed the gun right at him and the girl hoped and drove off while he struggled over the gun. During the altercation, the gun went off, he jumped out of the car, rolled, injured his leg and limped as he walked toward Darian’s house,” a complaint states.

However, the woman who was driving the vehicle gave a different version. She was on Berner Strasse when another person got into the car

“She immediately heard the man behind her say, “Don’t move,” and noticed a black gun held up between her and (Ramirez), who was sitting in the passenger seat. “(The woman) heard a gunshot and said the noise deafened her right ear and caused her to panic when she suddenly realized (Ramirez) had been shot in the head,” the complaint states.

According to the autopsy cited in the lawsuit, Ramirez died of a gunshot wound to the head.
