AXS partners with Lyft to bundle travel from concerts

AXS has partnered with Lyft to redefine travel convenience for sports and live entertainment fans to and from their chosen venue.

The partnership makes Lyft the official partner of AXS in North America and is focused on providing seamless transportation options to live event attendees across the United States. By combining their expertise, AXS and Lyft are setting a new standard for accessibility, offering fans a streamlined journey from ticket purchase to arrival at the event.

In October, AXS will begin introducing Lyft as an official partner for the ticketing platform’s mobile app and digital channels. Whether attending a concert, sporting event or family show, AXS ticket buyers will benefit from event-specific push notifications, exclusive promotions and offers, including the ability to reserve a discounted ride in advance through Lyft’s scheduled rides.

AXS is the ticketing partner for over 1,300 venues around the world, from sports teams to concerts to live events in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Around 58% of Lyft users already use the service to get to and from entertainment events, making the partnership a natural fit. The partnership will connect Lyft with a vast network of event attendees and create value for both Lyft drivers, who will see increased demand, and passengers, providing an easy pickup and drop-off transportation experience.

For fans attending live events, the partnership means they can worry less about transportation logistics. Offering a new level of convenience, Lyft’s scheduled rides are just one of the many features highlighted and adding to the perfect day or evening.

The partnership also includes advertising events with AXS tickets on Lyft’s omnichannel media network, Lyft Media, which has the potential to reach passengers before, during and on the way to their destination. With millions of rides per day, Lyft is uniquely positioned to reach a diverse and highly engaged audience. On average, passengers keep the app open for an average of 20% of the journey time.
