Bageshwar: A 40-year-old woman BageshwarShe died in the Kanyalikot area after she was attacked by a swarm of wasps while working in her field. She died from her injuries on Wednesday on the way to the district hospital.
Hema Devi took care of her agricultural work when a swarm of wasps attacked her and seriously injured her.
Dr. Saurav, a doctor at the district hospital, said, “Hema had suffered serious injuries due to the sheer number of wasp stings. By the time she arrived at the hospital, the poison had already spread throughout her body, making it impossible to save her.”
Local authorities have urged residents to exercise caution when working in areas where such risks exist.
