Dallas, TX – A motorcyclist died early Wednesday morning on Interstate 30 in Dallas after hitting a dog and then being struck by a car.

The fatal crash occurred around 3 a.m. on westbound I-30 near Westmoreland Road.

According to the Dallas Sheriff’s Office, a motorcyclist struck a dog that was lying in the roadway.

The driver fell off the motorcycle and was hit by a car.

The motorcyclist was killed in the incident.
