13-year-old girl sent back to prison for stabbing murder of her 7-year-old sister

TAYLOR, MI – A 13-year-old girl has been sent back to prison for allegedly stabbing her younger sister over a note about flushing the toilet, officials announced.

Authorities initially planned to keep the teenager in juvenile detention, but later changed that decision and designated the defendant an adult. The adult designation gives the judge the option, if convicted, to sentence them as a juvenile, as an adult, or to impose a juvenile sentence with an optional adult sentence.
