Devara Worldwide Box Office Collection Update: Jr NTR’s action drama targets Rs 400 Crore milestone, courtesy Strong Hold in Week 2

Devara Part 1 starring Jr NTR in dual roles and Bollywood actors Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan is holding up well in the second week. The pan-India film has grossed Rs 360 crore so far, which is impressive considering the mixed word of mouth.

Devara Part 1 earns Rs 289 Crore in India and is doing reasonably well in foreign locations

Directed by Koratala Siva, the sea adventure drama received mixed reactions. At one point it seemed that the film would not be successful at the box office, but it won back the audience and managed to achieve a good overall impression.

After grossing an impressive Rs 237 crore in India, the film went on to gross Rs 33.5 crore in its second weekend. Furthermore, it showed good hold and collected Rs 6.5 crore, Rs 5.75 crore and around Rs 5.25 crore on weekdays. The total revenue of Devara Part 1 has reached a gross revenue of Rs 289 Crore in India within 13 days of its release. It is expected to end at Rs 293 crore in the second week in India.

The film has earned around Rs 71 crore in foreign markets, which is quite good considering its international distribution deal. The total box office collection of Devara Part 1 currently stands at Rs 360 Crore worldwide.

Will Devara be able to take advantage of the Dussehra holiday?

The NTR starrer action entertainer has performed best in Telugu and Hindi markets. The film will face stiff competition from new releases in these territories in its third weekend. Vettaiyan will go out of business in Tamil while Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is expected to give a major setback at the Hindi box office. However, the film ‘Koratala Siva’ is still witnessing a rise in the Telugu box office during the Dussehra festival.

It will be interesting to see if the film holds up to new releases. Estimates suggest Devara will end his global rampage at Rs 400 crore.

About Devara Part 1

Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, tells the story of a man who is both feared and respected in four villages in a coastal region called Devara. The film follows his journey as a bandit and how he eventually turns against crime and becomes an urban legend.

Because of his fearsome reputation, other villagers are reluctant to commit crimes while several opponents fight to regain control. In the midst of this, his son Vara tries to build a life that is in stark contrast to his father’s personality and legacy.

The rest of the film revolves around Devara’s opponents attempting to subjugate him and weaken his legendary status, while the enigmatic figure hides among them, ready to defend his position.
