BPD takes over investigation into street shooting in Reisterstown

On October 7, at approximately 2:56 p.m., Baltimore County officers responded to the 7000 block of Reisterstown Road to investigate a call of a shooting.

Upon arrival, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries. While on scene, officers were notified of a random shooting victim at a local hospital. Upon arrival at the hospital, officers discovered an 18-year-old male was suffering from multiple non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Further investigation revealed that both victims were shot in the 7000 block of Reisterstown Road.

The Baltimore County Police Department conducted the initial investigation, and after further review of the location of the initial incident, the Baltimore City Police Department is taking over and continuing the investigation.
