Chicago traffic: Rollover accident causes State Street to be closed at 94th Street in West Chesterfield, video shows

CHICAGO (WLS) – An accident on the city’s south side led to a closure during rush hour Wednesday.

The rollover accident occurred near State Street and 93rd Street, just off the Dan Ryan Expressway.

Chopper 7 was over the scene of the accident around 6:55 a.m. in West Chesterfield.

The video shows the crashed vehicle on an embankment. It appeared the car had crashed into a light pole and fallen onto the grass.

An ambulance was seen leaving the scene and it appeared no passengers were found.

Chicago police have not released any information.
