Red Dead Redemption fans are losing their cool over the announcement of a major new release

Red Dead Redemption players are completely beside themselves about this

The first Red Dead Redemption game is finally coming to PC later this year and, as you can imagine, fans are really excited.

We’ve waited a long, long time for this moment and now it’s finally here Red Dead Redemption will be released on PC on October 29th, just two days before Horizon: Zero Dawn also remasters.

Check out the trailer for the original Red Dead Redemption below

While the game will not be remastered or remade in any way, Rockstar Games confirmed in the announcement that it will include the Undead Nightmare DLC.

It has also been confirmed that the port will receive some PC-specific features to improve the gaming experience.

These include native 4K resolution, support for ultrawide and super-ultrawide monitors, and other features.

Fans are, if you can believe it, thrilled and have expressed their gratitude and support for Rockstar in various threads on Reddit.

In one thread, a fan exclaimed: “LETS GO!!!! “The mods will be great,” great point because I’m sure someone will try to add them Red Dead Redemption 2 Features in the game.

Another fan added: “Man I just bought it for the Switch! I guess I’ll buy it again.”

Another fan said the release date was good timing, saying: “Just before the first payday of my new job, what a lovely thing to treat myself to.”

Of course, there will be many fans disappointed with this port, as many are still waiting for a remake that brings Red Dead Redemption up to the quality level of its sequel.

Then fans tell Rockstar that they don’t care about this new PC port because they would rather have GTA VI instead.

Ignoring these people is great news, and if you haven’t played yet Red Dead Redemption It will be worth visiting again in a while.
