1 person dies, 2 are injured in crash in Beaufort Co

BEAUFORT COUNTY, Sc. (WTOC) – One person is dead and two others are injured in a crash in Beaufort County.

The fatal accident occurred around 11 a.m. Tuesday along US 17 near Bull Corner Road.

Two of the trucks were traveling south on US 17. A third truck was traveling north on US 17.

The first truck and the second truck collided and the driver of the first truck was killed.

The driver of the second truck was uninjured.

After hitting the second truck, the first truck crashed into a third truck.

A driver and a passenger of the truck were taken to hospital with injuries.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
