Police defuse bomb in Netanya linked to criminal activity

Israeli police have defused a ready-made explosive device planted at the entrance to a building in Netanya, police reported Wednesday morning.

Officers reportedly arrived at the scene after a suspicious object was reported in the city.

After neutralizing the explosive device, the officers handed it over to the forensic laboratories for further evidence processing as part of an investigation into the background and circumstances, the police added.
