Barcelona superstar will be fit for game against Girona despite injury fears – report

According to a report from SPORT, Barcelona star Dani Olmo should be fit and ready for action in the upcoming game against Girona.

This news comes as a relief to many, especially since Olmo missed Spain’s UEFA Nations League game against Switzerland. However, he was used in the first game of the break against Serbia.

During this game he was replaced by Joselu. The reason for his substitution was a serious blow he suffered in a collision with an opponent.

Although the blow was serious, the decision to remove him from the game was a precautionary measure. Due to injury fears, Olmo played no role in Spain’s second game against Switzerland.

No serious injury

Medical tests were carried out which confirmed that there was no serious injury, but the pain was enough to warrant caution and avoid unnecessary risks.
