Man killed after shooting in West Phoenix

PHOENIX – A man is dead in west Phoenix early Tuesday morning, according to authorities.

Phoenix police responded to a call about a reported shooting at a home just after 2 a.m. near 71st Avenue and Osborn Road.

Upon arrival, police found a 34-year-old man who had been shot. Paramedics took him to a local hospital, where he later died.

Police have not released the victim’s name and no arrests have been made.

No further information was provided.

The case is an ongoing investigation.
