Shooting on East NC 54 sends man to hospital, Durham police investigate

Durham police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night that sent a man to the hospital.

According to authorities, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 2300 block of East NC 54 Highway around 10:30 p.m.

When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
