Yelm Football hosts Bonney Lake

Yelm Football will host SPSL South foe Bonney Lake on Friday, October 11th at 7 p.m. at Yelm High School as part of the Tornadoes’ annual homecoming game and festivities. Tickets for the league game between the Tornados and Panthers can be purchased online at www.GoFan.co.

Rainier Football hosts Toledo

Rainier Football hosts C2BL opponent Toledo at Rainier High School on Friday, October 11th at 7 p.m. The contest between the two teams can be watched online at NFHS.com and tickets can be purchased at the door.

YHS class reunion 2004

The Yelm High School Class of 2004 will host a Homecoming Country Hoedown at Lisenby Farm, 25057 188th Ave. on Saturday, October 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. SE, Kent. The meeting will be characterized by a “lively country house style”. For a “cosy, festive evening,” guests are asked to bring their boots and blankets. Sunday, October 13th

Stone City Farm Artvana painting workshop

Stone City Farm, 297 Sussex Ave. W. in Tenino, is hosting an Artvana painting workshop on Sunday, October 13th at 3 p.m. Tickets for the event can be purchased online at EventBrite.com after searching the event name. Tickets are $45 and participants can expect to paint “Pumpkin Truck” artwork on their canvases. Advance registration for the event is also required.

Bloodworks Northwest blood drive

Bloodworks Northwest will host a blood drive at the Yelm Community Center on Tuesday, October 22, and Wednesday, October 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are required for the “best possible donation experience,” and most locations allow same-day appointments. Photo ID is also required.

Tuesday, October 29th

Scare Trail in Cochrane Park

The City of Yelm will host its annual “Scare Trail” at Cochrane Park, 750 Mill Road, on Tuesday, October 29, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. It is recommended that participants be at least 16 years old. The city will also offer a less frightening “Spooky Trail” in Cochrane Park the same day from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. for those who can’t stand the night terrors.

Visit the annual Christmas bazaar

Yelm Emanuel Lutheran Church will host its annual Fall Bazaar on Friday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, 206 Third Ave., Yelm.
