Ringo Starr has “scary” health problems and cancels tour

A performance at Radio City Music Hall was canceled

Ringo Starr first came to international attention as the Beatles’ drummer after replacing Pete Best in the band. During this time he occasionally wrote and sang songs.

Since then, however, Starr has had a stellar solo career. Most recently, his eponymous live group, Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, was scheduled to tour between 2022 and 2024.

However, due to health concerns, Starr recently canceled several upcoming shows, including an appearance at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. As Closer Weekly reported, a doctor at the time advised him to take things slowly after a bad cold.
