Brighton pedestrian killed in crash on I-76 early Tuesday morning

A pedestrian was killed early Tuesday morning on westbound Interstate 76 after being struck by a Chevrolet Silverado driver, according to Brighton police.

The driver called 911 just before 5 a.m. Tuesday to report he had hit a pedestrian, Brighton police said in a news release.

Officers found a man with serious injuries on the carriageway between Bromley Lane and Bridge Street. Police officials did not say whether the man died at the scene or at a later date.
