San Angelo rollover accident on Houston Harte Expy sends several people to the hospital

Police said a Honda Pilot was traveling early in the left lane of the Houston Harte Expressway when he crashed into a guardrail. The driver of the Honda overcorrected and collided with a Ford Explorer.

Several injured in rollover accident in San Angelo on the Houston Harte Expressway

San Angelo, TX – According to San Angelo police, several people were injured after two vehicles collided and one of the vehicles overturned on the Houston Harte Expressway early Tuesday morning.

Police said a Honda Pilot was traveling early in the left lane of the Houston Harte Expressway when he crashed into a guardrail. The driver of the Honda overcorrected and collided with a Ford Explorer.

The impact caused the Explorer to roll over onto the centerline.

San Angelo police said the occupants of both vehicles were taken to Shannon Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the Honda driver was cited for failure to maintain lane.

The accident is still under investigation.
