What is Tori’s sexuality in Heartstopper Season 3?

If there is something we have always wanted Heart stopperit’s more from Tori Spring. The iconic character has been right by her brother’s side for the past few seasons and fans have wanted to know more about her. Things changed quickly in Season 3, as we got to see more of Tori’s social life as she invited a new friend into her inner circle: the one and only Michael. Fans of the comics were excited to see how their relationship would change over the course of the season, but there was a shock: their storyline changed from the books. And don’t worry, there’s a reason for that.

Tori’s story was actually the trigger Heart stopper universe when Alice Oseman published the novel Solitaire. The story follows Tori as she meets Michael for the first time and her world is turned upside down as they try to uncover one of the school’s biggest mysteries: who is behind the mysterious Solitaire?

While their relationship and its beginnings are shown, the season ends with Michael wanting to call her his girlfriend and Tori not entirely keen on the idea.

“So she was quite confused by her relationship with Michael,” Alice said Tudum. “She obviously cares about Michael and loves him very much. But she doesn’t really know if it counts as a relationship or not.”

The answer for fans who haven’t read the comics is that Tori is actually asexual, just like Isaac. However, Tori actually doesn’t reveal this until Volume 5, which was just adapted to the series. As with most adaptations, not everything appears in the live-action version, but there is a hint of this in Episode 5 of Season 3 during the fireworks scene when the colors of the Ace flag appear in the background as she takes a sip of her drink drinks.

“I originally wrote that scene there,” Alice told The PinkNews. “When we read through the scripts, I felt like there was no structure. We didn’t spend enough time with Tori and Michael as a couple. We hadn’t seen any indication that Tori had anything like that. “I’ve dealt with that, and there’s a lot in season three.”

She confirmed that there is a chance of this happening later when the series returns for a fourth season.

“We have volume six of the comics that I’m working on right now,” she said The Wrap. “We don’t know if we’ll have a fourth season yet, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed just to wrap up the story and wrap up all the storylines.”

So here’s hoping we get more so we can see Tori’s story shine the way it deserves!
