Southbound traffic on Highway 99 was delayed following an accident near Lerdo Highway

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Traffic is expected on southbound Highway 99 near Lerdo Highway following an accident in the fast lane.

According to the CHP website, an accident between a truck and a Tesla in the fast lane was reported around 4 p.m.

The website said traffic was backed up as lane number one was closed.

It is not known whether anyone was injured.
